GOING INTO the final 24 hours of voting in the June presidential contest, President Dennis McVicker (LIB) has produced documented evidence uncovering a Linardist Party-led attempt to fix the election should the president yield to their demand to switch parties.

In the email, Linardist Party elder MC Daddy D put forward a detailed proposal to the President in which he [DD] would orchestrate a McVicker victory if the chief executive sold out his own party and joined the ailing Linardist movement.

No stranger to scandal, the email describes how MC Daddy D went as far as to keep candidate William D. Money out of the loop on the deal. The most damning of its contents, DD describes how he would arrange the vote transaction if the president caved to the terms.

"Confidentially, and off-the-record, you agree to become a Linardist after you are re-elected with our help. This will not be made public beforehand. He said we would probably need that in writing", MC Daddy D said in the email confirmed to have been received from an address belonging to Linardist-controlled Titulia Times Company.

Refusing to cave to extortion, the president was defiant in his response to MC Daddy D.

"I will not negotiate for your support, either I have it or I don't. This election does not mean enough to me for me to risking losing all credibility by selling out the Libertarian Party", President McVicker said.

"If you guys do not want to support me that is on you guys. I'll campaign; if I win, I win, and if I lose, I lose".

"Like I said if you guys will be happy with a Trvthseeker presidency go for it", concluded the president.

MC Daddy D's email also purports to implicate former Colombian Ambassador Boyd X. Biggs - another strong Linardist Party figure.

The email depicted the timeline in which the plot would unfold including: when William D. Money would withdraw if McVicker agreed and MC Daddy D using the Titulia Times newspaper to announce the support and deliver the Linardist bloc of votes.

Last but not least, the final requirement to seal the deal was that the president had to 'publicly announce you are leaving the Libertarian party to become a Linardist', as per the text of the message.

Outgoing Republican Chairman T. J. Norton referred to the extortion attempt as 'disgraceful'.

"Can anyone or any group approach a presidential candidate and ask for their support? Sure. Can anyone or any group approach a presidential candidate and lobby them on their issues? Of course", Norton said.

"Can anyone or any group attempt to fix a presidential election based on deceit? That warrants nothing less than an open, transparent and full investigation, harnessing the full resources of the Titulian Government".

"..to depose every single member of the Linardist Party, including Leader Handy and Candidate Money to find out what they knew, when it happened and what - if any - other 'deals' were made. The Linardist Party never cease pontificating their brand of democracy upon the nation".

"In the same stead, the Titulian people have a right to know how their votes were effected, especially when you consider the potential illegitimacy of this election based on the Seniority Rule".
