"TOMORROW'S TYRANT" STARTS TO SHOW TEETH

SETTLING INTO Liberty house has seemed easy for new President Dennis McVicker. At the conclusion of Day Two of the new administration the President has procured for national review, a document entitled the "Bill of Rights".

"This is the Bill of Rights that President Avaram presented to me, and I edited. The majority of this document was worked on by the previous administration, and what changes I made to it were in fact minor", Pres. McVicker said in his blog.

The Herald asked the President to point out the differences between his version and the original Avaram document. So far we have been provided with no comment by the President or any member of the Administration.

On other matters, the President has put forward a proposition which would allow the Libertarian Party-led and co-ordinated Government to draft the rules and regulations political parties would use if they were to merge.
As proposed, it would endow the Government with the power to censor political parties or at least mold policy to an unfair advantage.

Prominent Titulians - former Vice Presidential candidate Jason Ragan (Trvthseeker) and Herald Co-editorial partner T. J. Norton have spoken out against the proposition.

In pushing the President's plan to stir urgent national growth, Immigration Minister-designate Mac McDonald cited the administration's commitment to hiring what the new Government calls "recruiters". According to information provided to the Herald, the job of a "recruiter" is two-pronged: to engage already active citizens in Republic life; and to find effective ways to increase Titulian immigration.

How is it shaping up? If Minister-designate McDonald's enthusiasm is anything to go by - we might just have our tennis match. If not - might be the most redundant Government since Richard Nixon or Bill Clinton.
