Former presidential candidate John Daly expelled Brian Negron from the Linardist Party early Saturday morning. In an exclusive interview with the Herald, Mr. Negron says he was expelled for endorsing and voting for President McVicker in during the latest election.
When asked for comment on the events, Mr. Negron responded, "I am deeply saddened by my expulsion from branch president John Daly. After being warmly welcomed by MC Daddy among others, the divisive Daly machine only shows the trouble Titulia will decend into chaos if we don't engage and participate." Mr. Negron went on further to compare Mr. Daly to Mayor Dailey of Chicago.
Brian Negron is a former Attorney General of Titulia, and was a nominee to the General Court under the Avaram administration. Earlier today, Mr. Negron proposed legislation recognizing gay marriage in Titulia. some citizens suggest this might be an attack on Mr. Daly, an outspoken social conservative.
In related news, Mr. Daly announced plans to emigrate from Titulia citing "decreased participation and increased partisanship" as his reasons for leaving. He went on to state "The country has went from a nation of ideas to a nation of egos. I am largely to blame for this, being at the forefront of several ugly debates that have degraded our nation to a point, I'm afraid, of no return. Being a divisive and, well, largely hated citizen I have begun to seriously consider leaving our nation."
These recent moves have many Titulians wondering if Mr. Daly is attempting to build publicity for his upcoming run for the presidency, which he announced recently in a proposition comment.
